Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 2: The Chairman J&K Employees and Workers Association (JKEWA) Mir Tariq Pampori hailing the move of N.N.Vohra Governor expressed gratitude for taking the issue of regularization of 3660 leftover genuine Daily Rated Workers in the Budget meeting held on the other day with Chief Secretary of the State asking him to complete the regularization of left over DRW's by Ist March 2016. JKEWA cautioned the casual labourers, need base workers, seasonal workers and CP workers engaged after 1994 to 17 March 2015 not to fall prey in the hands of some self styled union leaders who have been exploiting, misleading them for the nefarious ends and for publicity particularly in the Department of PHE, I&FC, Forest, Agriculture, Rural Dev. Department and PWD. It was maintained that under the banner of JKEWA, their registration/regularization policy got endorsement by the Govt after long struggle done by the Association. Governor was appealed to consider and frame the policy for regularization of these casual DRWs and release their pending wages on humantarion grounds. Other prominent leaders of JKEWA who were present in press conference were Provincial President Kashmir Ab.
