| Punjab, Haryana share victories in ongoing Football C'ship | | | JAMMU, Feb 9 : The first match of the Championship was played today between Punjab V/s Uttrakhand wherein Punjab won the match by 3-0 in full time.
The first goal was scored by Pawan Kumar Tiwari in 17th minute, second goal scored by Ajay Singh in 48th minute and third goal was scored by again Pawan Kumar Tiwari in 52nd minute.
The Yellow card was shown to Rajinder Singh Gora in 48th minute in Uttrakhand side for foul play.
While in the 2nd Match of the Championship, played between Haryana V/s Himachal Pradesh, Haryana won the match by 1-0 in full time.
The goal was scored by Arvind in 84th minute in Haryana side while the Yellow card was shown to Amit Bhat and Sumit Kumar in 37th & 81st minutes respectively from Himachal Pradesh and Navneet Gulia in 35th minute from Haryana side side fo the foul play. The matches were witnessed by Chief Guest Rakesh Sharma (IG BSF), S.S. Wazir (Retd. ADGP), Iftkar Lone while the championship was organized by J&K Football Association & J&K State Sports Council. |
