Jammu, Apr 30: A special teachers training program covering 21st century teaching & learning strategies was conducted by idiscoveri Xseed in Lawrence Public School, Panjtirthi. Teachers of primary classes attended the training program mainly focusing on annual academic planning, lesson planning, teaching practices, conducting activities, class room management & learning strategies. For the new teachers a five step training approach was adopted enabling them to enhance the language, refine mathematical skills, update new teaching strategies & how to become an effective teacher using the teachers manuals, contents books, work books, activity logs & learnometer. The teachers were made to work individually & in groups followed by discussion on Performance for International Student Assessment (PISA). The training program was conducted by Xseed Education Coach, Pankaj Thakur under the supervision of Varender Singh. |
