Early Times Report Jammu, May 5: Delegates of Jodhamal Public School comprising of Navisha Gupta and Hasit Sachdev along with their Coordinator, Roopinder Kour, participated in the 4th International Youth Conference on Earth & Man' which was held at Doon School, Dehradun won 'best presentation trophy'. The conference registered participation from Top 48 institutions from Dehradun which focused on sustainable efforts to save nature and environment, and Jodhamal Team presented a documentary on 'Save River Tawi' which received immense appreciation and garnered enough attention from all corners of the audience. The delegation of Jodhamal School came back home victorious with not only the reward but also with learning experiences and considered themselves fortunate of becoming an active part of Environment Saving International Conference. Dr. Peter McLaughlin, The Headmaster, The Doon School and Tanvir Singh, Director (TAP) also lauded the efforts put in by the Jodhamal Team. The team was mentored by Faculty Incharge Roopinder Kour and Radhika Sharma, assisted by Kushboo Khorana and Charanjeev, students of Jodhamal School and IT support rendered by Vikas Bakshi. All parents feel highly privileged that Jodhamal School is providing such platform to the students and staff for their holistic development. The School Trustee, Nandan Kuthiala, the School Principal, Trilok Singh Bist and the Vice Principal, Monika Sethi gave stupendous mentoring to students, applauded them for a great show at the conference and felicitated them in a special assembly in the school. |
