Teacher sets example to follow, gets a class room constructed

Rajouri, May 11: Setting a unique example for community to follow and an eye opener to the concerned authorities who often rue fund constraints now and then, a teacher posted at Govt Middle School Ghawan, Kalakote Education Zone of Rajouri district showing commitment and devotion to improve education standards in her area got constructed a well furnished class room for pre-primary students.
Rajinder Kour Bali teacher on Monday handed over the room to Chief Education Officer (CEO) Rajouri on the occasion of her birthday.
Ch Altaf Hussain, CEO Rajouri visited the school especially to appreciate the dedication of Rajinder Kour towards her professional duties to wish her happy birthday and to appreciate and encourage the other staff members.
On Monday in a simple but impressive function CEO Rajouri dedicated the newly constructed seven well furnished class rooms including the one constructed by Rajinder Kour Bali.
Appreciating her selfless service and dedication to improve education standards in her area, CEO Rajouri asked other teachers to follow the footsteps of Rajinder Kour teacher.
Here it needs to mention that the aforesaid school has strength of 63 students in addition to 21 children in pre-primary class. Five teachers have been appointed in this school and the pre wing children were facing shortage of accommodation.
Exhibiting selfless approach and dutifulness, the teacher Rajinder Kour Bali took an unique initiative to construct a well furnished class room for the students of pre-primary students. The incident came to light when many government schools in Rajouri district and other parts of Jammu province are lacking academic standard courtesy -casual approach of the government teachers who consider the school merely an ATM (Automatic Teller Machine). The approach of Mrs Bali is not unique but it is an exemplary for the other philanthropist souls to come to fore and be the part of creating basic infrastructure in schools which lack the basic amenities.
