Patient accuses GMC administration, Police of attempt to murder
Court takes cognizance, directs SSP to probe

Jammu, May 13: Taking cognizance of the complaint filed by a patient admitted in department of gastroentology in the super specialty hospital Jammu, the court has ordered preliminary inquiry with directions to SSP Jammu to get the matter inquired from a gazetted officer in terms of section 202 CrPC and submit the report on next date of hearing.
The complaint was filed before the court in the back drop of incident that took place on 19.4.2016, demanding registration of FIR against accused for attempt to murder.
The complainant knocked the door of court after Police refused to take action against the a accused persons . The complainant, Mohd Nasim s/o Kalam Din of Nowshera, had alleged that officers of the GMC administration, accompanied by a police officer from concerned police station dragged him outside the ward and left him at the mercy of God in deteriorating condition .
In his complaint the patient had stated that he was under treatment in Super Speciality Hospital,Jammu in Gastroenterology Department as he was suffering from ulcer in his stomach when the team of four persons broke open door of the ward and forcibly took away the drips from his veins besides other patients who were suffering from various ailments. "When I objected to their act, a doctor caught hold of my collar and dragged me out of the ward despite my critical condition" the complainant said adding that due to this illegal act, his condition further deteriorated. Terming the incident an attempt to murder , he demanded to book the accused under section 307 RPC.
Pertinently, on 19.4.2016, the team of doctors along with the police officer entered into the Gasterentology department in Super Specialty Hospital and took away some machines including Endosocopy, which were installed over there. The incident was reported in some section of media.
