Rajouri, May 14: Block Medical Officer (BMO), Darhal, Dr Iqbal Malik has placed under suspension the entire of a health centre and ordered their attachment with the office of Chief Medical Officer for remaining absent from duty. Official sources said to ensure work culture and check unauthorized absence of staff in health centres of Darhal block, Dr Malik conducted surprise visit to various health centres and found that sub-centre, Sarotha, was locked at about 11.30 am. Taking a serious note of it, he placed all the employees of the sub-sentre under suspension and attached them to CMO office, Rajouri. The suspended employees have been identified as Irfana Kouser and Shamim Akhter, both FMPHWs, and Mohammad Khalil, nursing orderly. He also directed staff members at other health centres to follow punctuality, dress code and provide better health facilities to people, especially to senior citizens, children and pregnant mothers and warned the defaulters of stringent action. |
