Jammu, July 27: JK Montessorie British School (JKMBS) and its affiliated unit JK Little Millennium International School today organizes a programme on 'Environment protection' in which students planted new saplings in school premises here.
More than 300 students participated from play group to class 3rd. A programme cum activity aiming at protecting the environment in which students of class 3rd presented a stage show, save Environment, save planet Earth."
Students of class 2nd made meaningful "slogans." Displays were put up to highlight the importance of trees, spreading the message that "one who plants a tree, plants a hope." A special assembly was conducted which conveyed the message that our environment is in crises due to global warming, over population, ecological imbalance, pollution and other critical Environmental issues.
Director academics Rajni Gupta, Vice Principal Geeta Dixit and Coordinator Vandana Gupta were also present on the occasion. |
