Akhand Jyoti committee celebrates its foundation 9/24/2016 11:20:17 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 24: Akhand Jyoti committee celebrated its foundation day with Zeal and gaiety at Mata Pingla Devi Chabutra Ramnagar. Akhand Jyoti committee dedicated this day to tourism of Ramnagar and celebrated this thirtieth foundation day to promote tourism in Ramnagar and a cultural programs organised by the committee. The main attraction was the show of famous Dogri artist Romalo Ram and Saraswati Bharti. On the occasion a mini marathon run was also organised in which a large number of people from every walk of life participated with great enthusiasm. Tara nath Principal Degree College Ramnagar show the flag to the participants. Tehsildar Ramnagar Romesh Singh, SHO Irfan Parvez, EO Daleep Abrol founder member of A J C Paras Ram Khajuria and a large number of other personalities were present on this occasion. Earlier Vinay Jandial org. of AJC while speaking on the occasion said that committee was formed in the year 1987 by late OP Jandial and organised Mata Pingla Devi Yatra in the same year which was a grand success. Now every year a large number of social programs are organised by the committee on different social issues. He appeals to the administration and other organizations to work for the promotion of tourism in Ramnagar. He further said that there are large numbers of tourist, religious and cultural places are worthwhile to seeing but due to the apathy of government these remained undeveloped.
