Jammu, Oct 14: Student union election was held in Government College Woment (GCW) Parade under the guidance of Principal of the College, Dr. Aruna Dubey and all the members of Students Welfare Committee, in the presence of Returning Officers.
Out of Seventy Two Class Representatives and Seventy Two Volunteers Eight Members were selected under different posts.
Babeeta Mehta as president, Palki Sharma as Vice President, Deepika Jaral as General Secretary, Sparash Sharma as Treasurer head, Disha Verma as Joint Secretary from Science Stream, Mahima Sharma as joint Secratery from Commerce Stream and Marvi Singh Jamwal as Joint Secretary from Humanities.
Moreover, Diksha Magotra was selected as Volunteer Head. Mutqueen Khan on Popular demand of the Students and with the Consent of the Teachers was unanimously nominated as Ambassador.
The elected student council promised to work for the progress and welfare of the institution with dedication and honesty. |
