Srinagar, Oct 14: Security forces burst teargas shells to disperse to disperse protests after Friday prayers at various places in the valley, where the ongoing unrest has left 86 civilians dead and over 10,000 injured since July 9. Shouting slogans, hundreds of protestors, defying restrictions, took to streets after Friday prayers at Tahab and adjoining area in south Kashmir district of Pulwama, demanding right to self determination. However, when protestors were moving towards the main chowk, security forces deployed in the area swung into action and stopped them from moving ahead. As the protestors didn't back down, security forces burst teargas shells to disperse demonstrators, who were pelting stones. Several protestors were injured in the security force action. Defying restrictions, hundreds of people hit the streets after Friday prayers at Eidgah Qadeem in north Kashmir district of Baramulla against killed of civilians and demanding right to self determination.
