One held with illicit liquor, desi lahan destroyed 10/27/2016 11:40:57 PM Early Times Report Kathua, Oct 27: Reacting swiftly on specific information, police party of police post Nagari headed by SI Ashwani Kumar IC PP Nagri conducted a raid at Mirpur Jaggo and held one person with 5 litres of Illicit liqour and 20 litres of laahan. The accused was identified as Mangal Singh @ Munna S/o Kartar Chand Perna R/o Mirpur Jaggo Nagri. Police during the raid seized 5 litres of Illicit liqour and destroyed around 20 litres of Desi lahan on spot. Police also seized instruments and apparatus being used by the accused for manufacturing the liqour. Police arrested the person and a case FIR NO. 420/16 u/s 48(e) excise act stands registered at P/S Kathua against him. The raid was conducted under the supervision of Dy.
