| 2 of a family die in road accident | | |

Rajouri, May 20: Two siblings of Kosser Hussain, who is presently working in Kuwait, died on spot as the car they were riding skidded off the road and fell into about 200 feet deep gorge near Shrine of Sain Ganji Sahib on Rajouri-Darhal road.
The deceased have been identified as 19 years old Raja Anzar and his married sister Rukhsana r/o Nadian in Darhal tehsil.
Family sources said Raja was a student in a school at Rajouri while his sister was married in Fatehpur village and both were on way to Fatehpur in the car bearing registration No.JK11b-6821.
As the car reached near the Shrine, Raja lost control on the steering and the car skidded off the road and fell in the deep gorge.
The duo died on the spot due to fatal injuries. People from nearby hoses, fields and from S the Shrine rushed to accident site but it was too late.
Police brought the bodies to district hospital mortuary after legal formalities and later the bodies were handed over to legal heirs for their last rites.
The tragedy has gripped both the Nadian and Fatehpur villages as people thronged to expressed their condolences to the aggrieved families.
People alleged that the condition of Rajouri-Darhal road is very bad and the accident spot is situated in highly accident prone area and in the past also many people have died in several road mishaps near this place. |
