NCC Cadets of Govt MAM College visit village Jaswan

Jammu, July 3: In order to motivate the NCC Cadets to inculcate national feelings and to be familiar with the strength of defense organizations, the Infantry Wing of NCC Cadets of the Government MAM College were taken to Village Jaswan Block Marh, Tehsil and District Jammu.
NCC Cadets along with ANO Associate NCC Officer Captain Dr Karan Singh participated in the event under Swachh Bharat Summer Internship for cleanliness drive of Village Jaswan. The campaign of (SBSI) is an initiative taken up by the PM Narendra Modi. Sukhbir Singh Assla, the commanding Officer of 2 J&K Boys Bn. Spoke on the occasion and appreciated the NCC cadets. He also appreciated the support given by the villagers especially the Village Sarpanch Narender Singh. He further emphasizes, the people should use washroom and should avoid open defecation. Principal of the College Dr. Romesh Chander admired the efforts of the Associate NCC Officer and the NCC Cadets of the College and encouraged the Cadets for taking initiatives for SBSI programme.
