| Former MLA takes stock of deep drains | | Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 29: Former Minister Sat Sharma today visited Ward 24, 28 and 29 along with UEED (Urban Environmental Engineering Department) officials, local residents and political activists of the area. Sharma visited the Nullah site which started from Ward 24 and connected Ward 28 and 29 as well. On demand of locals, the tour was conducted in the area which yielded on spot results. Ward 29 Corporator Surinder Choudhary and District President BJP Ayodhya Gupta also accompanied former minister during his visit. Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that a fruitful tour was conducted with the officials of UEED and Nullah (Deep Drains) at Hari Nagar, Ward 24 which also goes through Ward 28 will be constructed with an estimate cost of Rupees 1.47 Crores and Shakti Nagar Nullah at Ward 29 will be constructed with an estimated cost of Rupees 1.40 Crores. AEE UEED Anil Sharma, JE Om Thakur, Munish Khajuria, Urvashi Gupta, Pawan Sharma, Munish Raja, Tulsi, Tinny, Nitu Gupta, Shakti Singh, Suresh Kumar, Ashok Anand, Atul and several others were also present. |
