Jammu, Jan 31: Competitions provide motivation to achieve a goal, to demonstrate determination, creativity and perseverance, to overcome challenges and above all to do better than you did yesterday. Delhi Public School, Jammu organized "Show N Tell' competition for the students of class-I here today. Students participated actively in the competition and threw light on various topics such as "Global Warming", "Save Girl Child", "Say No to Plastic", "Nature", "Good & Healthy food", "Soldier", "My India", "Plants", "Abacus", "Mother", "Tom & Jerry", etc. which mesmerized the audience completely. The first prize was bagged by Jayansh (I-D) and Vaydeesh Gupta (I-C). Lakshay Anand (I-C) and Vidhan Mahajan (I-A) stood second while the third prize was shared by Faris Singh (I-C) and Aarna Kohli (I-A). Consolation prizes were also received by Anirudh Singh (I-E) and Aradhya Gupta (I-J) while Seerat Chouhan (I-G) and Aasim Abbas Khan (I-i) received a 'Special Mention'. The event was judged by Ritu Kapoor. Principal, DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra congratulated all the winners and appreciated the efforts of the teachers. Headmistress, Meenu Gupta also applauded them. President, RCT, M.K Ajatshatru Singh, PVC, Kunwrani Ritu Singh and Director, S.S Sodhi extended their best wishes to the winners and their parents. |
