Jammu, Mar 17: Home Department today ordered transfers and postings of two Deputy Inspector Generals of Police (DIGs) and five other police officers.
As per Government Order No. 287-Home of 2019 Dated 17.03.2019, Sujit Kumar (IPS) awaiting orders of posting in Police Headquarters (PHO) is posted as I/C DIG Jammu-Kathua-Samba (JKS) Range vice Vivek Gupta, Vivek Gupta (IPS) I/C DIG Jammu-Kathua-Samba (JKS) Range, holding additional charge of the post of DIG Poonch-Rajouri Range is transferred and posted as I/C DIG, Poonch-Rajouri Range, Rajnesh Pran, Commandant, IR-18th Battalion is transferred and posted as Director, Special Security Force (SSF), against an available vacancy, Vinay Kumar, Addl. SP (Headquarters), Doda is transferred and posted as Joint Director (Headquarters), Special Security Force (SSF), against an available vacancy, Shabir Nawab, Commandant, IR-2 1st Battalion shall hold the charge of the post of SP, APCR, Srinagar in addition to his own duties, till further orders, Ranjit Singh, Deputy Commandant, IR-5th Battalion is transferred and posted as Joint Director( Operations), Special Security Force (SSF), against an available vacancy and Master Popsy, Deputy Commandant IR 15th Batallion is transferred and posted as Addl SP Headquarters Doda vice Vinay Kumar. |
