Photo of 4 men holding weapons create panic in Kishtwar, No FIR yet | | | Asif Iqbal Naik Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 4: As on one hand side the people in state of Jammu and Kashmir including Kishtwar District are in panic over the escalating tension and prevailing uncertainty, there is a panic among the local residents of Keshwan and Thakrae area of Kishtwar District over the surfacing of photograph in which four persons were holding weapons and was circulated on social media as a result of which the peace loving people residing in the area are facing threatened. As per the details available with "Early Times", the four people who were seen displaying weapon in the viral photograph has been identified by the locals as Ghulam Nabi Wani alias Tunda son of Ghulam Mohammad Wani, Irshad Ahmed son of Ghulam Mohammad Hajjam Resident of Pathana Keshwan, Mohammad Ramzan Malik alias Ikhlaq Son of Mohammad Sikander Malik Resident of Kuchhal and Javed Ahmed son of Sarullah Hajjam resident of Pathana Keshwan. The locals told the "Early Times" that among the four persons, the two persons Ghulam Nabi Wani alias Tunda and Javed Ahmed were seen in a video holding weapons and hand grenade added that after surfacing of the said video, the local people raise strong voices over the roaming of these two persons in the area and later caught hold of both of them and handed over them to police. The locals said that former top cop himself visited the area and take the custody of both of them and said that they were surprise to see that both of them were let off as both were seen roaming in the area freely. The locals said they were shocked to see the fresh photograph of theirs in social media as a result of which there was panic among the peace loving people of the area and called upon higher authorities to take strict action against these goons who are amid at spreading terror in the area. They said that recently some locals were intercepted by the two members of this gang and robbed a local of his hard earn money and demanded immediate registration of an FIR against them as well as their arrest. SSP Kishtwar Dr. Harmeet Singh said that one among the four persons in the photograph seems to be holding a toy gun, but did not elaborate anything further. It is pertinent to mention that Kishtwar police only last week registered an open FIR against various media houses including national and international reputed news channels for exposing Pakistan attempt to destabilize peace and tranquility in the area. |
