All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers' Forum felicitates Ashok Sharma

UDHAMPUR, Sep 8: The district Udhampur unit of All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers' Forum felicitated its District President, Ashok Sharma, presently serving as Lecturer in English in Government Hr Secondary School, Thial (Udhampur), for receiving the Appreciation Certificate from the Director School Education, Jammu for 'commendable contribution in the field of teaching and for improving the academic environment through personal initiatives' at a glittering function held at Teachers Bhavan Jammu on the eve of Teachers Day on September 5.
Chief Guest of the function was Chander Mohan Gupta, Mayor, Jammu Municipal Corporation and attended among others by Anuradha Gupta Director School Education, Jammu, Personnel Officer DSEJ, Jammu, Joint Directors, CEO Jammu, Principals, lecturers and students of various schools of Jammu.
In a meeting held under the Chairmanship of Virinder Kumar, Chief Organizer of the District Unit of the Forum, the members said that Ashok Sharma is an inspiration and role model for a large number of students and the teachers and he richly deserved the award for being an inspiring and dedicated teacher and person par excellence.
Speaking on the occasion, Ashok Sharma thanked the members for their gesture and exhorted them to do their best to impart quality education to the children and mould them into patriotic and law abiding citizens and above all good human beings. He thanked the DSEJ forwarding him the Appreciation Certificate and assured that he will work with double zeal and dedication to discharge his duties as a good teacher.
