Sankat Mochan Path continues in Raghunath Temple to ward off COVID-19 | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 18: It is over five months now that Dharmarth Trust is performing Bhagwan Shri Hanuman’s Sankat Mochan ‘Paath’ in the Shri Raghunath ji Temple to save humanity from the lethal coronavirus. President Dharmarth Trust, Mubarak Singh, in a statement issued here on Thursday, said that the Sankat Mochan Path is performed seven times both in the morning and evening since the outbreak of pandemic in Jammu and Kashmir to get rid of the same and ensuring well being of all human beings. “Since mid of March, the Pujaris at the famous Raghunath Temple are performing Sankat Mochan Path for well being of all sentient beings and it shall continue until J&K and for that matter whole country will get rid of the same”, he averred, adding that taking refuge under realms of Almighty is the only remedy for the safety and wellbeing of humanity. The President said that the Trust continuing with its rich tradition of performing rituals and Pooja to avert ill effects of natural calamities and epidemics. Dharmarth Trust is committed to work in tandem with protocols and instructions issued by the government to contain the spread of COVID-19, he added. The Head Pujari of Raghunath ji Temple said that Bhagwan Shri Hanuman ji is omnipotent and shall bless us all with good health and keep us safe from the Covid-19 pandemic. He urged the people of J&K UT to worship and to have faith in Bhagwan Shri Hanuman ji as ‘He’ is all powerful and will bail out all from the deadly pandemic. |
