45 package candidates career in jeopardy | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 15: The fate of 45 migrant youth selected under PM employment package is totally uncertain with Government showing total reluctance in issuing appointment orders jn their favour for many years now. Fed up with official apathy the aggrieved youth have resorted to agitation and are protesting for last two months. In front of Exhibition Ground near Press Club here. The aggrieved candidates running from pillar to post for justice since last ten years have not been given justice which forced them to resort to agitational path. These candidates including females also have moved every corner including Court of Justice. Despite the directives from court the Government failed to give justice to the migrant youth who have been forced to come to streets. The protesting youth said the Government was deliberately adopting avoiding tactics not to issue appointment orders in their favour. "The authorities are doing injustice with us. The candidates having less points than us were selected while we have been ignored on unknown reasons"; said one of the aggrieved candidates sitting on dharna in the Exhibition Ground. He said despite meeting LG, advisors and other officers our case has not been settled. They only gave assurances but did nothing on Ground. He said there is s lot of resentment among the displaced youth against the authorities for their apathy towards the aggrieved candidates. He said majority of these youth are at the verge of over age having no chances of appearing in the interviews for other posts advertised under package. This way our career has been deliberately put in geoparady by the administration and in case the justice is delayed further we will be forced to take some extreme steps . |
