Similarly, we too have been elected as Panchs and Sarpanchs by the people. They (Ministers) have a vast circle of governance and we have a limited circle of governance. We are not at their mercy. Jammu, Oct 17: What has been missed by most while reading the statement made in New Delhi by State Chief Minister is that he has finally washed his hands off tackling corruption and accepted the doctrine of let the looters rob if you want to remain in power.
Omar Abdullah said in New Delhi that it is impossible to tackle corruption during coalition Governments and if the people of the State are really serious in their desire to curb corruption they must next time give a clear mandate to a single political party. The statement in itself is the admission by the Chief Minister that he has decided to finally throw up his hands when it comes to tackling the dragon of corrup...
| | | | Which Kashmiri culture and identity Mirwaiz talks about? | | Misinformation Campaign | | | Rustam
Jammu, Oct 17: APHC (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq gives interviews almost daily. He says the same thing in each and every interview that he gives. There is nothing new in what he says on a daily basis. He only reiterates what he has been saying since years now. Of course, he talks about the lack of unity among separatists, as also about the ongoing conflict within his own outfit, which consists of several organizations, big and small. And as expected, he also overrules the possibility of his outfit taking part in the election process and seeks to make people believe that he is their genuine representative. He also seeks to create an impression that he not only speaks on behalf of...
