The deceased woman was stabbed to death by her son, Amir Farooq Wani, a resident of Hadipora village, Rafiabad. "There was an argument between the two when other family members were in the house. Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 15: The registration for the annual Amarnath pilgrimage began on Monday with a large number of people turning up at designated bank branches here to secure a permit. The 52-day pilgrimage to the 3,880-meter-high cave shrine in south Kashmir is scheduled to start on June 29 and conclude on August 19, according to the announcement made by the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB). Early Times Report Srinagar, Apr 15: Police on Monday arrested a drug peddler with a huge quantity of Charas from his possession in Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian district. Police during a routine check at Safanagri, noticed a person moving in a suspicious condition who tried to flee from the spot after seeing the police. However, he was tactfully apprehended and upon his search two nylon bags containing a Charas-like substance weighing about 20 Kg and 584 grams were recovered, police said.
