Early Times Reporter Jammu | Aug 1 MAM college students today staged a protest demonstration in front of Jammu University against the large-scale discrepancies in the recently declared Part-I results of three year graduation courses have today. Students were led by NSUI activist Rajeev Saraf. In the meantime the students locked the gate of the Jammu University and blocked the traffic at University road. The students were demanding for the immediate redressal of the problems caused due to recent result. Later, the police had to use minor lathi charge to disperse the agitating students. Jammu,September 01 : Filmstar Sanjay Dutt who is visiting religious places after coming out of the jail on temporary bail could not perform darshan at the famous Mata Vaishno devi shrine nested in Trikuta hills as weather gods played spoil sport and left him stranded mid way in Jaipur for long hours. Dutt had boarded a private flight from Mumbai on Saturday morning along with his girl friend Manyatya to reach Jammu but could not land here in Jammu as bad weather prevented him to take off from Jaipur due to heavy downpour. Jammu,September 1 :-Not only the BJP and the Panthers Party but the Congress leaders, belonging to the Jammu region, continue to be incensed over what they call procrastination on the part of the state Government in redressing basic problems being faced by the people in Jammu. Srinagar, September 1 :-Patron of PDP, Mufti Mohd. Sayeed, has been spending more time in strengthening the organization in order to exceed the number of seats it won in 2002 Assembly poll. In 2002 election it had won 16 seats and later bagged one more seat during the by-election caused by the demise of National Conference leader, Ghulam Mohiuddin Shah. Sources close to the Mufti said that the former Chief Minister wanted the party workers and leaders to strain their nerves for building a wave in favour of the PDP ahead of the pre-poll campaign.
