EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Oct 9 : A meeting of All J&K Youth OBC Mahasabha was held under the chairmanship of Mohd. Yaseen, President. In the meeting Arjit Kumar, General Secretary of Youth OBC Mahasabha congratulated OBC Masses for making a grand success of Mashal Rally fro Ambphalla Chowk to Janipur Colony, Jammu held on 2nd October, 2012.
Kumar also detailed that in the recruitment process of the Jammu and Kashmir Bank ltd for clerks and probationary officers the State OBC castes and communities have been totally ignored as this bank is giving NIL reservation to OBC's.
In the meeting, Sunny Mehra disclosed that congress party is only making the exploitation of State OBC masses for the political petty interests. The congress and its coalition partners like National Conference and People's Democratic Party have ruled over 65 years in the state but has done nothing for the development of OBC. Recently right from the beginning of the 21st century Gulam Nabi Azad, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and Omar Abdullah remained as Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir but has taken no steps for the enhancement of OBC reservation from 2% to 27% in the State Government services and development of OBC's despite that all these Chief Minister's have the knowledge that OBc masses are getting 27% reservation in the central government services and their 27 reservation rights has been totally crushed in the state. History reveals that congress party has done the job of Suppression of OBC Kaka-Kalelkar report-1953 for 27 years and Mandal Commission Report-1980 for 10 years. It was only V P Singh Hon'ble Ex-Prime Minister of India who has implemented OBC 27% reservation in August 1990.
Others who spoke in the meeting were Naveen Dogra, Abhishek Mehra, Shubham Verma, Sanjay Mehra, Naresh Kumar Sodi, Sunil Kumar, Ravi Kumar, Mohammad Qasim, Abdul Majeed, Ram lal Balgotra, DP Mehra, Vicky Verma.
, Mohinder Kumar, Talib Hussain, Mohammad Rafique, Amar Singh, Gurdeep Singh, Daljeet Singh, Pardeep Chargotra, Raman Salgotra, Manoj Pandey and Raman Basotra.
