| Shinde arrives today on 2 day security review visit | | To pay obeisance at Raghunath Mandir | | ET Report Jammu, Oct 11: After his visit to cold desert of Ladakh last week, Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde is arriving tomorrow on two days visit to J&K again , this time commencing from winter capital Jammu. The main purpose of the visit is to take review of security scenario in both the regions of the sensitive state , which includes his visit to Poonch district where he will take stock of Cross LOC trade at Chakkan Da Bagh. In a busy day full of engagements , the Union Home minister will first arrive in Jammu wherefrom he is scheduled to take off for border district of Poonch. Shinde will visit Chakan-da-Bagh trade centre to review the cross-LoC trade and to assess the required facilities at the Poonch-Rawalakote route to give a boost to the trade. Official sources said he is also scheduled to have a meeting with the trade authorities and traders at Chakkan Da Bagh. Upon review of various other security related aspects in the border district, Home minister will review the security scenario along the International Border in Suchetgarh sector , sources said. He is scheduled to review security scenario at Octroi Post along IB. The itinerary following visit to IB incudles his return to Jammu where he would meet various delegations at Government Guest House . Before wrapping up his Jammu visit Sushil Kumar Shinde , who is arriving in the city of temples for the first time in capacity of Union Home Minister, shall pay obeisance at famous Raghunath Mandir in the evening. Meanwhile, in order to draw the attention of Union Home Minister towards 'apathetic' attitude of the state government vis-à-vis their long pending demands, Youth All India Kashmiri Samaj is taking out protest scooter rally tomorrow. Through the protest rally YAIKS will draw the attention of country's Home Minister towards non implementation of PM's Employment package for Kashmiri migrants. |
