| Nationalist forces take serious exception of rights activists meeting with separatists | | | Early times report JAMMU, Nov 4: The nationalist forces in Kashmir valley have taken serious exception to visit of so called rights activists to Valley and meeting with separatists to solicit their opinion on Kashmir issue. They have termed such hobnobbing of the so called rights activists with separatists a dangerous trend which is not only inimical to the national interests but also a discouragement to nationalist forces in the state working for national integrity and unity. The BJP Kashmir unit leaders while taking serious exception to the visit of these so called activists from Delhi to Kashmir few days back and holding meetings with Mirwaiz Moulvi Umar, Yasin Malik and others has termed it a dangerous trend as such visits are encouraging the separatists in the Valley. The BJP leaders while taking serious exception to the often visit of these rights activists to Valley from New Delhi said by taking to separatists they are getting only one sided opinion on Kashmir while the majority opinion which stands for national unity and integrity and total merger of Kashmir with Indian union are ignored. The BJP leader Ghulam Hassan Noorabadi questioned these rights activists that on what basis they are visiting Valley often and meeting the separatists. This way they help in promotion of secessionism in Kashmir and present a one sided version of Kashmir situation knowing fully that the separatists have lost ground in Valley. He said that in case if the rights activists are genuinely with peoples cause they must meet people from every section of society so that a fair picture is presented before the outside world. He said the people in Kashmir have rejected separatists since but it is only due to the moral support they get from the socalled rights activists within country and outside they are becoming more and more powerful. Noorabdi said that he and his other members of the party have taken up the issue with Party High Command and in case the socalled human rights activists continue this policy the BJP unit of the Valley will openly protest against the visit of these activists in Valley as the Party will not allow them to present the view of a particular section of the people in front of world. He demanded a probe into the role of these rights activists and also the links of separatists with militants.
