Jammu, Dec 23: A house wife hanged herself to death at her residence here in Rajiv Nagar under the jurisdiction of Narwal police today.
Police said that Anita Sharma (32) wife of Rajesh Kumar Sharma a resident of Mansar at present Rajeev Nagar in Narwal was found hanging from a ceiling fan. Family dispute is stated to be the reason behind the incident,police said.
"She went in the room and allegedly hanged herself from the hook of the ceiling fan," police said, adding before the family members could learn about the incident she had died.
Her body, police said, was shifted to the GMC hospital for post mortem and other legal formalities. A case under section 174 CrPC has been registered in this connection. |
