Jammu, Dec 23: An emergency meeting was convened under the leadership of Dev Paj Bali - President VRS Union Jammu wh-erein attitude of the Central Govt. as well as the Delhi Govt. to thwart protests against Delhi gang rape by use of force against non violent protestors was strongly criticized.
The delegates called upon the prime minister Manmohan Singh, UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Delhi chief minister Sheila Dixit to respect the anguish amongst the youth of the nation and ensure stringent and exemplary punishment to the accused of the heinous crime.
In the meeting Balwinder Singh, BV.Sharma, D.N. Sharma, Sain Mohd, Surjeet Singh, Gulshan Singh, Jasbir Singh and Sat Paul were present among others.
