| JYF condemns hike in Hostels fees | | | early times report
Jammu, Dec 23: Students and Scholars of Jammu University today expre-ssed resentment against the hike in hostel fees and deteriorating conditions of parking, beautification and worsening condition of the university Gym Centre. President of JYF Vijay Kumar strongly condemned the rise of 40% hike Hostels fees in the university. Also saying that if the University wants to generate its own financial income then why not the authority is decreasing the purchasing of luxurious vehicles and additional renovation of building which need not require the renovation. He further said that stopped the misuse of university vehicles by the officials for personal interest leading to the misuse of funds which are ment for the students' welfare and have demanded to take out all vehicles from the officials.
Mr. Vijay claimed that the condition of university fitness centre has worsened completely. He has taken a serious note of pathetic condition of parking facility available inside the University Campus.
He also said that these issues should be taken immediately by the authorities; otherwise, students will launch an agitation in this regard. |
