Jammu, Jan 5: The ongoing war of words which gained momentum after Political Advisor to Chief Minister Devinder Singh Rana tossed a legal notice worth Rs 10 crore to chairman of National Panthers Party (NPP) and MLA Harsh Dev Singh, a battery of senior leaders today ridiculed the outbursts of Youth Congress leader who has leveled baseless and malicious allegations against Harsh Dev Singh terming it another mischief of Devinder Singh Rana. In a media interaction Pawan Dev Singh, provincial president Young Panthers and Thakur Virender Singh, Provincial President and Incharge Jammu University (NPSU) today ridiculed the out bursts of RS Pathania, Youth Congress leader who has leveled baseless and malicious allegations against Chairman of NPP.
Panthers leaders further alleged that Pathania had recently being engaged by Devinder Singh Rana, Political Advisor on temporary basis as a daily wager. They said Rana has assigned to so called Youth Congress leader Pathania the duty of spitting venom against Harsh Dev Singh. They said Rana has been engaging several other workers on casual/ daily wage basis to settle scores with Harsh Dev Singh who has been countering and confronting the Chief Minister and the State Govt over the issues of Jammu's neglect and deprivation.
Alleging continued mischief by Devinder Singh Rana, the Panthers leaders reminded him that Harsh Dev Singh was given the best legislator Award and was acknowledged as Best performing Minister. "He (Harsh Dev) has set high standards of probity and morality in public life and has further set an example for others to emulate, they said. Speakers asked Rana to desist from cheap politics and dirty tricks in the wake of fast eroding credibility of coalition Govt in the State. Dismissing all the allegations by so called Youth Congress leader Pathania, the Panther leaders said that Ramnagar has witnessed unprecedented development during the last 16 years and said that allegations on MLA Ramnagar for having allotted construction works to his nears, dears and party workers were baseless and frivolous as Pathania himself had sought details under RTI regarding works under execution under NABARD,CDF, Additionality, Non plan along with names of contractors and role of MLA in allotment works but RTI reply had mentioned the names of contractors but had categorically stated that MLA Ramnagar had not recommended the name of even a single person for allotment of works and all allotments of works were made in accordance with the procedure in vogue.
They further stated that NPP had voted for PDP candidates because there was an electoral understanding as PDP had also voted for NPP candidates and ensured the victory of one MLC candidate in Council elections. They added allegations regarding MLA Ramnagar property too are ill-conceived and false as MLA Ramnagar has not made property after 1996 and every detail is duly accounted for in the Assembly records as well as IT returns filed on regular basis. NPP leaders said they would welcome Commission of Inquiry to cover all Ministers as well as Political Advisor to Chief Minister, so as to probe how they became billionaire.
Panthers leaders further said that RS Pathania was a perturbed and a sick person who had been randomly issuing malevolent and malicious statements and further alleged that he (Pathnia) is known for his black mailing tactics in the official circles. Padam Dev Singh, Suryadev Singh, Bhupinder Singh, Rahul Sharma, Rajat Sudoon, Sushil Sharma, Vijaydeep Singh, Ashish Kalbotra and Anshu also flanked their senior leaders in today's media interaction.
