EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Jan 15: During the continued sessions of three days course on "Terrorism and Counter Insurgency" today, Muneer Alam, HOD, Deptt of strategic and Regional Studies (DSRS), University of Jammu delivered a lecture on the topic, "Withdrawal of NATO forces from Afghanistan implications on India's security". The lecture was very interactive in which the participants asked a volley of question concerning India's security the prevailing situation in Pakistan and the developments undergoing in turmoil torn Afghanistan. Thereafter Atul Goel, IPS SSP Kathua delivered a lecture on the topic, "Internal Security Management Role of Police force". He discussed in depth the prevailing security scenario of the country and the role of Police and other sister agencies in maintaining law & order tranquility in the society. During the last session of the day Mufti Javid, spoke on the topic, "Flaws in the Investigation of Terrorism Related Cases". The ongoing three day course shall conclude on Jan 17. |
