EARLY TIMES REPORT SAMBA, Jan 15: The office bearers and prominent PDP workers held a meeting today under the leadership of Pawan Dev Singh Distt President PDP Samba in which it was decided that PDP will stage a protest against coalition government as it has failed to come upto the expectations of people. While addressing the rank and file of the PDP workers at Guest House Samba, Singh who chaired the meeting informed that a protest demonstration rally held at Samba on Jan 21 against state govt has totally failed in mitigating the day to day problems of the poor people of the state. He said the basic issues of people like acute scarcity of water and power, rising prices of essential commodities, distribution of widow and old age pension, Package for the govt employees, deteriorating law and order situation in the state are the major concerns which still have remained untouched. Speakers urged the Governor of State N N Vohra to recommendation for the early dismissal of present regime to give relief to people of state. Yashpal, Chander Slathia, Kawla Singh, Tinku, Madam Anita Devi, Parveen Singh Katal and others alsao spoke in this meeting. |
