Doda, Jan 15: A camp was organized by Agric-ulture department, Zone Bhagwah at Panchayat Halqa Mootli Malwas of Distt Doda to distribute Kissan Credit Cards (KCC) to farmers.
Agriculture Extension Officer (AEO) Dheeraj Singh, Rehbar-e-Ziraat, Rashid Latief, JAEO Sajjid Khan distributed some KCCs to farmers through Sarpanch Badri Nath. Rashid Latief in his address educated farmers about KCC and said that they can avail loan facility before sowing of crops and after sowing KCC is beneficial for farmers to meet their needs for purchasing of seeds, fertilizers and pesticides.
Rashid said that a total number of 103 forms were filled in Panchayat Malwas out of 1 8 were issued and remaining are under process.
Sarpanch Panchayat Halqa Malwas Badri Nath appreciated the work of Agriculture department for timely providing seeds, fertilizers and Pesticides.
Besides farmers the meeting was attended by J&K Bank (Main Branch), Patwari Shabir Ahmed Naib Sarpanch. |
