| Afresh infiltration bid foiled along LoC in Mendhar | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Rajouri, Jan 15: The tension continued prevailing along Line of Control between the India-Pakistan as afresh firing and infiltration attempt has been reported in Mendhar sector.
As per sources, Indian army spotted about twelve persons very close to fencing along Line of Control (LoC) border and they asked them to halt but the call of halt was replied with firing which effectively was replied by the troops triggering heavy firing on Line of Control. Firing started after 7 pm added sources and was on as the last reports poured in. So far there are no reports of any loss.
The infiltration attempt has been reported in Phulwadi Gali of Beri Tapsi belt of Mendhar area of Poonch district. Sources further added that Pakistani forces have violated ceasefire in Mendhar area of India-Pakistan border. |
