| Lal Bahadur Shastri College celebrates Vivekananda’s birth anniversary | | |  early times report
Hiranagar, Jan 19: Lal Bahadur Shastri College of Education celebrated 150th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda today. The management along with the students of the college participated in the function where Member Legislative Council Subash Chander Gupta was the chief guest.
Chairman of the College Dr Surinder Kohli welcomed Gupta. Addressing the students, Gupta recalled the values and ideology propagated by the Swami. He said that Swami ji worked for the betterment of human life and taught moral values. He urged upon the youth to adopt the values of Swami ji in their day to day life. Kohli asked the youth to adopt the values of Swami ji in order to make their life more realistic.
Principal of the College K.R Jha also expressed his opinion and shed light on the values of Swami ji. |
