| PHEewa alleges employee at AG office misusing his official position | | | early times report
Jammu, Jan 19: PHE Employees Welfare Association (PHEEWA) in a meeting held today at Jeevan Nagar Jammu discussed various issues of the employees including their concerns over the misuse of official position by one Senior Accounts Officer (PNR-II) of Accountant General (AG) J&K Jammu
The members during this meeting held under the chairmanship of Om Parkash Sharma Social Worker and President of the Association expressed their concerns over the misuse of official position by one Sr Accounts Officer (PNR-II) of Accountant General J&K Jammu and raising of false and fabricated objections on the implementation of the SRO 149 for grant of benefit of non ITI in the scale of Rs 1200-30-2040 wef 1.9.92 and the said objection resulted in wrong recovery of huge amounts of money from the retirement benefits of the hundreds of the affected employees and the retirees have been put at huge losses of their entitlements.
Sharma while speaking on the occasion brought out he had taken up the matter with the Accountant General as well with the Comptroller and Auditor General of Accounts India and many requests have been taken to the Chief Engineer and Executive Engineer PHE Mechanical Division South Jammu to give necessary instructions to the DDOs concerned to adhere to codal provisions Govt instructions issued in this regard from time to time and review all the cases and fix correct pay so that there is no hurdle at the time of retirement.
