| Induction training program organized | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 22: National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research Chandigarh organized four days "Induction Training Program throughI CT" at Government Polytechnic for Women Jammu. According to press release, Director Technical Education S.C. Sawhney inaugurated the program along with Joint Director Technical Education Er. Andrabi. The Director apprised the importance of programs in light of skill development mission and induction of fresh faculties in the newly established polytechnics in the State. He stressed the need to inculcate teaching attributes in the newly appointed faculty and industry -institute interaction in effective curriculum implementation. The Joint Director stressed upon the NITTTR to use ICT in short term courses so that the faculties of polytechnics and other institutions are benefitted from its experiences. During the program, local experts like Prof I.D. Soni, State Commissioner Bharat Scouts and Guides, S.K. Jain, renowned Yoga expert, Prof Parwana, Principal National college of Education, Er. Annil Suri, President BBIA and Prof Rita Jitender ex-Principal and renowned women activist also interacted with the participants and provided valuable inputs. Er. Ritu Jamwal Principal Govt. polytechnic for Women exhorted upon the participants to assimilate the inputs provided by the esteemed faculty in their instruction delivery and planning so that the stake holders especially the students are largely benefitted. Er. Naresh Gupta Lecturer E&C and local coordinator of the program thanked the Principal of the Institution and other organizations who sponsored and deputed their faculties to attend this program.
