JKNGSEA resents for delay in conceding their demands

Jammu, Feb 22: J&K Statistical Non-Gazetted Employees Association (JKNGSEA) has expressed resentment against government, for inordinate delay in conceding their long pending demands.
According to press release, a meeting of the executive council of J&K Statistical Non-Gazetted Employees Association (JKNGSEA) was held in Civil Secretariat under the chairmanship of President JKNGSEA, PS Jamwal.
Apart from members of the executive council a number of Planning/ Statistical personal attended the meeting. At the outset all the participants welcomed the induction of Mohammad Iqbal Khanday as Chief Secretary of J&K and reposed faith that all the issues pertaining to general employees would be addressed at an earliest.
While deliberating upon various issues faced by the Planning personnel, the participants shown their dismay over the lackadaisical approach of the authorities in resolving the long pending issues of Planning/ Statistical personnel despite assurance given by the higher authorities for early redressal of same. The inordinate delay has caused great distrust among the Planning personnel.
The JKNGSEA has reaffirmed that by conviction we believe in settlement of all the issues across the table through dialogue and has requested to the authorities to keep in view the same and reciprocateaccordingly so that the cordial atmosphere is not vitiated.
The President has impressed up on the authorities to address their demands including promotion at various Gazetted as well as Non-Gazetted level, removal of pay anomalies, re-organization of department, creation of welfare fund, issuance of job chart, issuance of quasi permanent order, filling of all the vacant posts, in-situ promotion, regularization of Class IV employees of Economics & Statistics cadre.
They appealed Planning Minister and Commissioner Secretary to come in rescue of hapless employees.
