| NYC activists stage protest | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 22: Demanding regularization of their services, All Jammu and Kashmir National Youth Corps (JKNYC) on Friday staged protest demonstration outside Press Club Jammu.
Dozens of JKNYC members assembled outside Press Club and staged protest demonstration, amid raising slogans. Addressing the protesters, state president of JKNYC Syed Bakar Jafri said that the eight thousand NYC youths of state were facing hardships but state government was continuously ignoring their genuine demand.
He said that they have been on road since last two year but no measures have been taken by state government for redressal of their demands, adding that the callous attitude of state government was compelling them to stage protests, time and again.
"We are not backdoor entrants but recruited by government in a very transparent manner" he said, adding that they have been serving the department since last many years, but government was least botherhered about their future. He further appealed state government to fulfill their demands, without any further delay. |
