| Newly elected Vice-Presidents of J&K Taekwondo Association felicitated | | | | Jammu: Minister for Youth Services & Sports/ Medical Education today felicitated the newly elected office bearers of the J&K Taekwondo ( Martial Arts) Association at a function organized by the Association at Jammu. The newly elected Vice- Presidents of the association Ranjeet Kalra and Shahnawaz Choudhary were felicitated by the minister in the presence of the other office bears of the association namely Advocate PC Sharma (President ) Advocate D N Pangotra ( General Secretary ) Nissar Ahmed (VP Kashmir) , Zaheer Abbas Khan ( Treasurer ) , Executive committee members & Guests. Earlier the minister was given a rousing welcome by the members of the Sports body. The minister was also presented a Citation and Shawl as a taken of respect and remembrance. Speaking on the occasion Taj Mohi -ud Din complimented the association for its good performances at the National and International level. He hoped that the Association shall continue to inculcate sportsman spirit coupled with self defense techniques amongst the Youth of the State especially the girl sportspersons. International Taekwondo Player/ Coach of the State Atul Pangotra (NIS) gave a detailed briefing to the Minister about the Taekwondo sport and various activities undertaken by the association in the recent past. Youth Congress leader Pankaj Basotra was also present on this occasion. |
