jammu, April 19 : Continuing drive against the bootlegger for their anticipated illegal activities on the Dry Day announ-ced April 19, the Chinore Police arrested one person alongwith 70 pouches of liquor meant to be sold during the restrictions imposed on sale of liquor today.
According to police sources, Chinor police following an input that one person was selling liquor despite today being a Dry Day, a police team from Police Station Chinore conducted raid and arrested the accused.
"Identified namely as Janak Ram s/o Munshi Ram of Durga Nagar Chinore, police said further adding, "that he was arrested along with 70 pouches of liquor. A case in this connection under relevant sections stands registered against the accused. |
