| DDC Anantnag visits Martand, Nagdandi temples on the eve of Ramnavmi | | | ANANTNAG: On the occasion of Ramnavmi, District Development Commissioner, Anantnag, Dr. Farooq Ahmad Lone today visited two prominent temples of the district at Martand Anantnag and Nagdandi Achabal, Senior Superintendent of Police, Anantnag and Additional Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag were accompanying the District Development Commissioner.
District Development Commissioner took part in the Havan ceremony and extended his hearty wishes to the Hindu Community who has been instrumental in maintaining brotherhood in the region. Pilgrims in large number were present on this event. District Development Commissioner assured them of best possible support wherever needed and directed the Municipality for providing a sweeper for maintaining cleanliness of the locality.
At Nagdandi Achabal, the Swami extended his gratitude towards the District Development Commissioner for providing all kinds of facilities during the ceremony of Ramnavmi.
All District Officers were accompanying the District Development Commissioner on this event.
Meanwhile, Dr. Farooq Ahmad Lone also visited Primary Health Centre (PHC), Achabal and took stock of medicare and other facilities being provided to the patients by the Hospital administration.
He also visited various wards of the Hospital and interacted with patients. He directed the authorities to maintain proper sanitation and cleanliness in and around the Hospital. |
