early time plus jammu, April 19 : Keeping in view hot days ahead, Care Nature and Environment (CNE) has started six Chabeels (water point) across the city, the same were dedicated people of Jammu in formal ceremony held today. According to press release, Joint Commissioner Municipal Corporation, Kapil Sharma was chief guest on the occasion and appreciated the efforts of CNE. The NGO will offer fresh drinking water to the thirsty people who have no place and provision to quench their thirst during summer. Speaking on the occasion, General Secretary, CNE, Ruchi Chouhan Khan briefed the gathering the the volunteers of NGO have been deputed to offer the drinking water to the public. "The Traditional and ethnic culture of our civilization to offer drinking water in traditional manner that is water stored in 'Mutkas'," she said. She furthers said, "The NGO is being supported by JMC for water and required services. The Municipality will fill the earthen pots twice or thrice in a day. The NGO requested the localities to co-operated and extend the support." |
