Yaseen visits Sonwar Constituency

SRINAGAR: MLA, Sonwar, Mr. Mohammad Yaseen Shah today conducted an extensive tour of his constituency and took stock of various ongoing developmental works being executed in his constituency.
The MLA was accompanied by the officers of R&B, PDD, PHE, SMC, RDD and other concerned Departments. He visited various areas including Khimbar, Chatterhama, Nishat and other adjoining vicinities.
Mr. Yaseen urged upon the officers to utilize funds judiciously and transparently besides by way of proper coordination among departments.
Mr. Yaseen enjoined upon the officers and executing agencies to speed up the pace of all developmental works being executed including repairing of various culverts, bathroom blocks at Rather Mohalla and asked concerned to expedite the development works to complete them within stipulated time so that people can get maximum benefit from such welfare and developmental schemes launched by the government.
He urged upon the officers of PDD to improve the supply of electricity in the area and take up the installation of new electric poles and its wiring on priority.
He also emphasized upon officers of R&B and SMC to upgrade the infrastructure of roads, lanes and drains besides complete all works within the given time frame. During his tour, several deputations of these areas put forth various issues pertaining to macadamization of roads, supply of electricity, drinking water, drainage, health care and other day to day concerns.
The MLA gave patient hearing to the deputationists and assured them that their genuine demands would be taken up with the concerned authorities for early redressal.
Mr. Yaseen stressed upon the concerned agencies to take up the work of filling and walling of Nawab Gund road immediately. He assured the people that upgradation work of play ground will be taken up with the concerned departments on priority so that the demand of youth of the area is fulfilled.
