KATHUA: A team of Legal Metrology department (LMD) today charged Rs 8500 fine from eight traders found violating various provisions of Weight and Measures Act & Rules.
The team, on the directions of DDC Kathua, conducted inspection of various markets of Kathua and Dyala Chack and realized a fine of Rs 8500 from 8 traders for violation of various provisions Of Weight and Measures Act & Rules.
The department also warned strict action under law against the traders found indulging in unfair trade practices. |
