MAJALTA: To check adulteration in edibles Tehsildar, Majalta, Mr. Aamir Choudhary accompanied by Teshil Supply officer, Food Safety Officer and Police Party of Majalta Police station conducted a surprise check of various establishment today.
As per the direction of the District Development Commissioner, Udhampur, Ms Yasha Mudgal, the check was conducted to ensure implementation of Food Safety and Standard Act, 2006.
The team inspected various Sweet Shops, Karyana Shops etc. and destroyed more than 60 kgs of Khoya besides this the team seized 18 domestic LPG Cylinder being used for commercial purposes at Thalora Manwal and realized an amount of Rs.4100 as fine from the defaulter . |
