JAMMU, May 10 : Minister for PHE, Irrigation, Flood and Control, Sham Lal Sharma today said that government is committed to ensure better road connectivity, transport facilities and comfort to the commuter travelling from one part of the state to other.
The Minister was interacting with the member of Chamber of Commerce and Industry, who called on him and apprised of various problems being faced by the people especially tourists due to shifting of Jammu General Bus stand to Khan Pura Nagorta, Transport Nagar Narwal and Paloura which is also hampering the business of the traders. He said that every step will be taken to address the grievances of the people, however, the government will also do its best to bring improvement in the present status of transport scenario in the state.
