New Delhi, Fri May 10 : A school bus driver and a conductor were arrested on Thursday for allegedly molesting students of a private convent school based in Hauz Khas, South Delhi. According to police, Mohammad Shami (24) and Asgar Ali (26) showed porn clips to students inside the bus and and discussed the clips. The two also encouraged the students to download porn clips, police said. Parents of a student complained to the school authorities about Shami and Ali.
A senior police officer said: "There were allegations against the school bus driver and the conductor that they showed porn clips to children. We have arrested them under the POCSO Act. We are questioning them and will speak to the parents whose children travelled on the bus." Police said they will also question the school authorities on why no teacher accompanied the students on the bus. This, police said, was a lapse on school's part. Sources said some of the parents complained that the two men also molested the children after showing them the porn clips. Police, however, said they are trying to ascertain if the men were only showing the clips to students or were also molesting them. |
