bandipora, May 10 : Minister for Higher Education, Mr. Mohammad Akbar Lone today dedicated Primary Health Centre, Tregam to the people of the area. The PHC was constructed at a cost of Rs 22.37 lakh. The health centre would cater thousands of people living in Tregam and Hajin block of Sonawari constituency. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Lone reiterated that government’s commitment of improving socio-economic status of people of the State. He said to provide all basic amenities including better road connectivity, adequate water supply, scheduled power supply, primary education and better healthcare facility is among the priorities of the State government Mr. Lone urged upon people to extend their cooperation to the government for leading the State to the new heights of prosperity. He asked people to come forward and avail maximum benefits from various welfare and developmental schemes launched by the State and Center governments in the State. The Minister was accompanied by the District Development Commissioner, Bandipora, Managing Director J&K Housing Board, Chief Medical Officer Bandipora and other concerned officers. Latter Mr. Lone interacted with the Medical and Paramedical staff of the center and enjoined upon them to extend their services with dedication and enthusiasm and provide best healthcare facilities to the needy with the spirit of humanity. |
